The jubilee 5th Charity Ball for Kashitu took place under the auspices of Our Lady of the Snow Parish in Prague 1 again. Also this year all 170 participants gathered in an secessian hall Na Marjánce on the premises of a Dance School ASTRA Praha in Prague 6. Traditionally, the musical band Medium played for dance. Apart from the splendid raffle, all the hosts could enjoy the „midnight surpise“ – drumming with Petr Šusor. It richly put the finishes touches to the feel of the whole ball.
Thanks to all participants, partners, donators and volunteers, 25.786,- CZK gathered to our goal – Project of High School in Kashitu. Thank you!

Two weeks ago, the jubilee 5th Charity Ball for Kashitu took place. We thank to all who came to support the project of High School in Kashitu. Soon you will see the photos from the event. Now we invite you watch a video of the „Midnight Surprise“… Let us say: African feel in European style!
Do you have glasses in a drawer at home which you don´t use? Bring them to our charity ball! We will put them to an opticians and take them to Kashitu in summer!
The first time when we were collecting glasses, was in 2014. A keen fan of our society and a lover of Africa, Vláďa Zikán and his friends were preparing a journey to some African countries, including Zambia. Anna Krahulcová a her friend Anna Černá immediately without letting us know, enounced an event at facebook „Glasses for African Men, Women and Foppish African Childern, in Other Words: Do Not Allow your Glasses to Idle and Fatten Up“. 24 glasses were collected. They underwent free maintenance in Opticians Visus in Prague 8 – Palmovka and Vláďa handed them to happy Zambians. Whom will we make happy this time?
