Children’s pairs

It is a project in which a Czech child and a Zambian child from New Renato Community pray for each other. The project is open and any children who are interested can write to us and join in.

Handing photos over to Czech children

On Sunday 13 May a meeting of children engaged in the project took place in Café Palladium Země české in Prague 14. The children´s parents were invited, too. After the initial introduction of the children the kids went out to play some games while their parents listened to Monika Hoferova, the head of our society. She told them about New Renato Community in Zambia and about their projects which our society is going to support. Her talk was supplemented by many photographs that Monika took during her visit to NRC in Zambia in September 2011. Then the kids returned to the café and with great interest they listened to Monika, who told them about everyday life of children in NRC. In the end each child was given a photo of a child from Zambian NRC for whom he or she will pray and who in turn will pray for them. Zambian children already have the photos of their prayer partners.It is great and yet unusual – the kids know each other only from the photos and yet they want to pray for each other…
